In case you were wondering

There are too many women named Elicsendis in this paper. That is all.

I have the same problem in my stuff with Adelaide and Arsendis. The latter is especially problematic because you can't complain to anyone about it, you just get "Arsendis? seriously? bwahaha"...

This may apply more in the UK than the US.

Yes. Elicsendis and its variants. Also Sibila. And, oddly enough, "Menga." I remember reading somewhere where someone did a quick count of the town she was surveying over a 50-year period, and determined that there were about 18 names for each sex. I believe it.

I haven't across anyone named Menga, I don't think. Lots of Elicsendis, Alamanda, Marquesa (that one seems a little odd, too). In earlier periods, lots of Ermessendis/a and Arsendis indeed!
